Mark Chesnutt is one of country music’s treasures. His success includes 14 #1 hits, 23 top ten singles, four platinum albums, five gold records, a CMA Horizon Award, and the honor of being one of the most played artists on country music airwaves. Since first dominating the honky tonk scene in the 1990s, his emotionally-tinged traditional style and substantial delivery set the bar for his generation. He’s got a knack for delivering great songs and making them into chart-topping hits, a gift that continues to this day.

Chesnutt comes to the Spencer with his seven-man band New South, giving us two nights of true country: “Blame It On Texas,” “Brother Jukebox,” “Your Love Is A Miracle,” “Sure Is Monday,” “She Dreams,” “Almost Goodbye,” “Gonna Get A Life,” “Thank God For Believers,” “I Just Want You to Know,” and many more.

New South includes:
Slim Yamaguchi - Steel Guitar
Delaney Jackson - Lead Guitar
Cary Stone - Acoustic Guitar
Don Bradley - Keyboards
Timmy Patterson - Bass
Darla Patterson - Drums
Willie Vanhook - Fiddle
