Lady Lay Down

Backside of Thirty

Rose Colored Glasses

Blessed with rich, melancholy-tinged vocals more powerful than the cries of a steel guitar, John John Conlee, put it on your Ruidoso calendar of events at the SPencer Theater, Ruidoso, New MExico.Conlee is an American country music singer and songwriter who’s charted 29 single releases, 26 in the top 20 or better. Swinging from sad to soulful, humorous to uplifting in a heartbeat, his list of sparkling hits include eight number ones -- Rose Colored Glasses, Lady Lay Down, Backside of Thirty, Common Man, I’m Only in It for the Love, In My Eyes, As Long As I’m Rockin’ With You and Got My Heart Set on You – all of which Conlee will perform at the acoustically supreme Spencer.

The self-described “common man” is a musical story teller about love, hope and heartache who’s crooning has kept him a constant on playlists since the ‘70s and at the Grand Ole Opry since the ‘80s. He is a crusader for family farms, first performing to save the family farming system at a concert he gave in Omaha in 1985 and thereafter as part of the Farm Aid concerts which have raised more than $13 million in support of the American family farmer.

Conlee comes to the Spencer with his five-man band, ready to bring many a smile and sooth the roughest of souls.

Starring John Conlee, vocals • Steve Sechler, lead guitar • Garry LaLone, drums • Lance Martin, bass guitar • Micky Gawrecki, keyboards • Nestor Eaton, guitar
