Click here for Class Acts schedule starting Monday, September 22, 9:30 a.m. Spencer Theater for the Performing Arts offers “Class Acts” performances are strictly for the benefit of school children throughout the region. The programming is designed to enhance arts appreciation and education curriculums, and to introduce students of all ages to professional, live performing arts. Bus transportation for Lincoln County and Mescalero students is subsidized through a grant from the R.D. & Joan Dale Hubbard Foundation.
Class Acts programming fulfills the Spencer’s core belief that the performing arts are a vital ingredient for a healthy community, an invaluable tool for a civilized society and an indispensable form of education. Through the magical wonder of dance, song and dramatic dialogue, the performing arts enhance all realms of curriculum in a most aesthetic manner, heightening learning as well as appreciation for living.
Teacher study guides, when available, are expected to be available online for most of the performances.
