The Spencer Theater, a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation, was built by Dow-Jones heiress Jackie Spencer and her husband, Dr. A. N. Spencer at a cost of $22 million. It opened in October, 1997. On the average, the Spencer has a major touring roadshow or event every 11 days throughout the year. The theater has been called one of the seven finest theaters in the world.

PUBLIC TOURS TUES
& THURS AT 10 AM.
Free public tours (donations appreciated) are conducted every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. except on holidays (no tour Thanksgiving Day) and days around performance dates when roadshows are moving in (Thursday Nov 30 06). Please call to confirm tours at 505.336-4800 M-F 9-5.
